You will complete a minimum of 140 hours of placements in a variety of national and international sport, exercise, fitness, and healthcare environments, providing valuable work experience before commencing your career. Many graduates have been offered work based on these placement opportunities.
Yes. The program and its subjects align with Exercise & Sports Science Australia's (ESSA) Exercise Science standards, which means you will be recognised as an Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES) upon graduation.
The program is delivered at the Bond Institute of Health & Sport, which includes an internationally recognised High-Performance Training Centre, as well as exercise and sports science teaching and research laboratories. These facilities provide sports science testing, training, and recovery services to a variety of elite and sub-elite athletes including state, national and international athletes and teams.
The program prepares graduates for exciting career opportunities in exercise science, sports science, and strength and conditioning. It also provides an accelerated undergraduate pathway to graduate-entry studies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and high-performance sports science.
