About This Course

Bond University's Master of International Relations is an innovative, forward-looking program that is attuned to the dynamics of the globalising world and its multiple diplomatic channels. The program provides you with a solid grounding in contemporary, theoretical, and cultural issues and, through an enhanced understanding of regional and global politics, development, strategic decision making, sociology and economy, you will be able to further your career in diplomacy, international trade, government, and business. Note: This program has been suspended from May 2025. There are no further intakes of students planned.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) in either global studies, social sciences, society and culture, or business and management.
English language proficiency: IELTS Academic overall score 6.5 with no sub-score less than 6.0; OR PTE Academic overall score 58 with no Communicative Scores below 50; OR TOEFL iBT overall score 79 (no scores below 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking, and 16 in Reading and Listening).
Alternative entry via prior work experience may be considered with documentation of employment history, including a statement from your employer about your position, time in the role, and a brief overview of the role performed.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to contact the Bond University Nyombil Centre for advice and assistance.
