AE4 Academic English Program
An English enabling program that prepares students for undergraduate study at ECU. Delivered via integrated classes, offshore delivery, and virtual classrooms.
Common Questions
Edith Cowan College has developed partnerships with international educational institutions, such as Shenzhen Bao'An Vocational Technical School (SBVTS) and Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA), to deliver English curriculum and teacher training for international English students and teachers, enabling them to progress to undergraduate study at ECU.
The AE4 English enabling programs have been taught by integrating students into the Mount Lawley classes, by an offshore delivery mode at partner institutions such as Beijing University of Agriculture, and, since 2021, by virtual classrooms delivered live from Perth.
By completing ECC's AE4 program, students are able to progress to their undergraduate program at ECU (Edith Cowan University).
From 2018, ECC has provided English language courses for BUA students who are enrolled in Science programs at ECU, with virtual classroom delivery added since 2021.
