Develops academic language skills required to successfully read, write, listen and speak in academic contexts, including assignment writing, referencing, critical thinking and oral presentations.
General Mathematics
Covers basic algebra, regression analysis, geometry, measurement, financial mathematics, statistics, graphs and network analysis — for non-mathematically based tertiary programs.
Mathematical Methods
Develops algebra, calculus and statistics skills including linear equations, sequences and series, logarithmic functions, trigonometry, differential and integral calculus, statistics and probability — recommended for Commerce, Science, Biomedical Science, IT and Engineering pathways.
Accounting
Introduces accounting concepts and the role of accounting within business, including using Excel to produce financial reports such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
