The tuition fee for the Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda is $24,950 for international students, with an additional Student Services Fee of $250 and an Amenities Fee of $350. For domestic students, the tuition fee is $15,625 plus an Amenities Fee of $350. There is no Government Subsidised Training fee available for this course.
The course is delivered in a blended format. Each academic year includes four Study Periods. Students undertake 1 weekday evening workshop via live webcast each week of the Study Period, led by one of EQUALS' Ayurvedic physicians and educators, as well as 2 x 7 days of practical training during Integration Week at the campus in Adelaide, South Australia. Integration Week includes the 2-night Rejuvenation Retreat.
Students participate in a minimum of 200 hours of structured and supervised student clinics where skills, knowledge and attitudes are developed as you work towards mastering your therapy practice. EQUALS works collaboratively with the leading health and healing centre, Ayurveda Village. Additionally, an optional Integrative Health Internship Program is available, where students are immersed in professional integrative health environments hosted by Aspects of Healing and Ayurveda Village, with clinic and retreat sites located in Adelaide city and the Adelaide Hills.
Completion of the Diploma of Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultation is a pre-requisite to enrolling in this qualification. Students also require a current and valid Provide First Aid certificate, DCSI Screening Checks for working with Vulnerable People, with Children, and in the Aged Care Sector, and must meet physical fitness requirements.
Ayurvedic training at EQUALS covers Ayurvedic Nutrition, Ayurvedic Cooking, Kitchen Pharmacy, Herbal Therapy, Pulse diagnosis, Tongue diagnosis, Marma – Trigger point therapy, Yoga & Pranayama, Ayurvedic Massage, Meditation, Ayurvedic Remedial therapies, Herbal Medicine Preparation, Lifestyle Disease Management, and Lifestyle Counselling.
