About This Course

The Australasian Institute of Ayurvedic Studies (the A.I.A.S) is a Registered Training Organisation, in Australia (RTO no. 31464), providing Australian Government recognised qualifications in Ayurveda. The A.I.A.S has over several decades of delivery, established itself as the leading Institute in the delivery of authentic Ayurvedic skills and knowledge. The Institute offers the most comprehensive curriculum in the study of Ayurvedic Medicine outside India. The programs are designed for students wishing to integrate training in Ayurveda into their personal and professional lives. In addition to providing students with an understanding of the fundamental principles and practices of Ayurveda, students receive the clinical training necessary to become successful practitioners. This training is based on the syllabus from the authentic curriculum developed in Indian universities and designed and delivered within the framework required by the Australian Vocational Educational Sector (Nationally recognized training qualifications).

The course covers a full suite of Ayurvedic content including diagnosis and assessment (including 'Nadi Pariksha' – Ayurvedic Pulse Diagnosis), Ayurvedic Treatments, Herbal Medicine, Ayurvedic Clinical Meditation, Ayurvedic Dietetics, and Ayurvedic Pathology, along with extensive practical immersion training and in-depth clinical case work.
