To enrol, students must have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions), OR have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role. Students must also be 18 years or older, have satisfactorily completed Year 12 of secondary education or its equivalent, and demonstrate English proficiency with an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent (or pass Abbey College's internal English placement test).
The course is delivered in a blended mode combining face-to-face and online learning, with 15 hours of face-to-face learning and 5 hours of online learning per week (except during term breaks). The total course duration is 78 weeks, and it is available at the Sydney campus.
Graduates of the Advanced Diploma of Business (BSB60120) are equipped for roles such as Senior Administrator/Executive, Business Manager, and Team Leader. Graduates can also build pathways to further education, including Bachelor programs at university.
Candidates may enter this qualification through BSB50120 – Diploma of Business or other relevant qualifications, OR by having completed two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role. After completing this qualification, graduates can pursue Bachelor programs at university and access advanced employment opportunities in business management.
