Advanced Diploma of Business

You will be required to sit a range of practical and written assessments. At the time of application, a self-assessment kit will help determine your current level of learning and whether you are eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

International students must be at least 18 years of age and have completed Year 12 or equivalent, participate in a course entry discussion to determine suitability, and have either completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package, or have two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise. Candidates must also have a good command of the English language and adequate numeracy skills.

Students must have access to standard professional equipment to complete their advanced business assessments, including a laptop or computer for word processing and accessing online resources, reliable internet access for the 25% distance study component, and a financial calculator for managing organisational finances and computing ratios and percentages. A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is also required by the government for recognised training.

Graduates of this advanced qualification are prepared to confidently pursue high-level occupational roles, including Senior Administrator, Executive Officer, Senior Executive, and Operations Director.

The course is delivered via face-to-face classroom sessions, with participants attending weekly sessions in a classroom environment. The course runs for 52 weeks at 20 hours per week, and is located at Level 3, 97 Creek St, Brisbane QLD 4000.
