Common Questions
Domestic students must possess sound written and oral English skills, as training and assessments are conducted in English. Applicants will be required to complete a Pre-training and Language Literacy and Numeracy Assessment. All assessment tasks are completed using a computer and internet, and digital literacy skills are essential. Additionally, students must have either completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package, or have two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role.
The BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business is delivered via blended delivery, which includes face-to-face training and Virtual Classroom sessions via Zoom. International students are required to attend courses run over 2.5 days for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
After completing the Advanced Diploma of Business, graduates can progress to the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management or the BSB60320 Advanced Diploma of Human Resource Management. They may also upskill further by attaining the BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning). Employment pathway roles include Supervisor and Manager.
ETEA utilises a range of assessment methods including question and answer/written assessment tasks, role play/practical demonstration and observation of skills (as applicable), and observation of skills in a simulated environment (as applicable). Assessment will be either via a Recognition of Prior Learning pathway or a Training and Assessment pathway. Students not achieving competency in any assessment will be required to undertake another assessment under ETEA's reassessment policy.
Yes, you can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), academic credit, and work experience towards this qualification. ETEA recognises that through work, volunteer roles, family commitments, and various tasks undertaken in everyday life, you build up a bank of knowledge and skills. Evidence of these accumulated skills and knowledge can be used to help you gain a qualification.
