Advanced Diploma of Business

The qualification is delivered over 52 weeks in total, which includes 36 weeks of training and assessment spread across 4 terms of 9 weeks each, plus 16 weeks of scheduled holidays and term breaks.

To successfully complete the qualification, a total of 10 units must be completed, including 5 Core units and 5 Elective units as listed in the course outline.

Students who complete the Advanced Diploma of Business may wish to continue their education into Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate qualifications, as well as higher education qualifications in business or management, subject to meeting the respective entry requirements.

Yes. A Course Credit (Recognition of Prior Learning) is available and can reduce the course duration and cost by exempting students from certain units if they have already met the learning outcomes through prior study or work experience. Entry to this qualification is limited to those who have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions), or who have two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
