About This Course

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have general management accountabilities. Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise. They may undertake technical research and analysis, and will often contribute to setting the strategic direction for a work area. The qualification is suited to individuals who are responsible for the supervision and leadership of a team or work area (including by managing staff performance and making staffing decisions). No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements

International Students – Minimum Age:

18 years or older at commencement of course

International Students – Minimum English Language Requirement (one of the below):

Certificate III in EAL / IELTS band score of 5.5 or equivalent
Satisfactorily completed ELICOS at to at least Upper Intermediate level
Completed equivalent of Australian Year 11 qualification from any of the English speaking countries such as Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland
Completion of any Australian AQF Certificate III or higher qualification
Satisfactorily completion of at least one semester of study in Australia in a tertiary course (satisfactorily for this purpose would mean that the applicant has completed 50% or more of the semester load)
Completed a Placement Test devised and administered by Rhodes College or a nominated accredited agency

International Students – Minimum Academic Qualification (one of the below):

Completion of senior high school to the Australian Year 12 or equivalent
Mature age students can also enter based on an interview with Rhodes College staff

The tuition fee for the Advanced Diploma of Business (BSB60120) is $9,500, plus a Resource Material Fee of $499 for all prescribed resource materials.
