The tuition fee for the Advanced Diploma of Business is A$18,750 for both international and domestic students. Additional fees include a Resource fee of $800, a non-refundable Enrolment Fee of AUD $250 payable at the time of enrolment, and international students are also required to hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their student visa.
The course runs for 78 weeks in total, comprising 60 weeks of study and 18 weeks of holidays. Duration may vary if the student has applied for advanced standing and been granted credit transfer (CT). Classes are scheduled for 2½ days per week, with a minimum of 20 scheduled course contact hours each week.
To enrol in the Advanced Diploma of Business, students must have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the Business Services Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions). International students must also meet English language proficiency requirements, such as an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5, or equivalent scores in PTE Academic or CAE.
Assessment methods in the Advanced Diploma of Business include written questions, projects, presentations, reports, and role plays/observations. Learning activities include face-to-face discussions, group activities, research tasks, and team building activities. The majority of assessment tasks must be completed using a computer and reliable internet access.
Yes, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available upon request for students with prior skills, experience, knowledge, or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training in a related area. Recognition may reduce the duration of your studies.
