Advanced Diploma of Business

To enrol, you must have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package, or have two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role. You must also demonstrate an IELTS score of at least 6.0 or equivalent, have successfully completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent, and be at least 18 years of age on the date of course commencement.

The course runs for 52 weeks in total, which includes 44 study weeks and 8 holiday weeks. Students are expected to attend 20 classroom hours per week, plus approximately 5 hours of self-study.

Assessments are designed to reflect real-world challenges and include written reports and strategic documents, presentations and case study projects, role plays and observations, and problem-solving tasks and workplace simulations. This ensures graduates have both theoretical knowledge and the confidence to apply it in professional practice.

Yes. Graduates of this course may progress to AQF Level 8 qualifications such as a Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) or other postgraduate programs in business and leadership, subject to entry requirements. They may also pursue Bachelor or Master-level business programs.

To complete the Advanced Diploma of Business, students must achieve competency in 10 units in total: 5 core units and 5 elective units. These units are tailored to develop high-level leadership skills and strategic decision-making ability in complex business environments.
