Advanced Diploma of Christian Ministry

The course duration is 1.5 years full-time, and it is delivered face-to-face at the Sydney campus with intakes in January, April, July, and October.

Applicants can enter via completion of the 11089AT Diploma of Christian Ministry or equivalent qualification, or through a professional experience pathway requiring at least 3 years of ministry-related work experience accompanied by a cover letter and CV. Recent secondary education (NSW HSC or equivalent) is also accepted. A government-issued USI and identity documents (birth certificate or valid passport) are also required.

The course is made up of 12 units in total — 6 core units and 6 elective units. Core units include topics such as leading ministry teams, church history, church administration, and study of Old and New Testament books, while electives cover areas such as pastoral care, the Trinity, leadership, cross-cultural ministry, missiology, and world religions.
