Those undertaking the RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design course must have completed the RII50520 Diploma of Civil Construction Design, either at Lead College or another institute with a similar elective.
The course duration is 104 weeks, delivered in a blended mode combining classroom-based learning, simulated industry workplace activities, and supervised online study. Learners are also expected to complete approximately 10 hours per week of unsupervised study.
Assessment methods include written questions or reports to demonstrate theoretical understanding, practical activities or projects simulating real-world tasks, case study analysis for critical thinking, direct observation during practical sessions, and supervised work placement where applicable.
Students who successfully complete all units will receive the certificate of RII60520 – Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design. Learners who partially complete the qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units they are deemed competent.
The tuition fee for the RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design is AUD $21,000, with an additional material/placement fee of AUD $4,000, for a course duration of 94 weeks as listed in the fee schedule.
