The full-time qualification, subject to credit transfer, is delivered over 26 weeks (6 months) of face-to-face study. It is packaged with the RII50520 Diploma of Civil Construction Design.
The course fees for the 26-week/6-month program are AUD $8,000 for tuition and AUD $650 for materials. Please note that prices may vary if Credit Transfer is approved.
To enter this course, students must have completed the RII50520 Diploma of Civil Construction Design and meet English language requirements, which include an IELTS score of 6.0 overall (General or Academic), TOEFL iBT score of 60, PTE Academic score of 51.6, Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) score of 169, or OET Pass Grade B. Students with an IELTS of 5.5 from an English-speaking country (level 1 country) may take an English Language Placement test.
This course is delivered on a face-to-face classroom-based mode, with distance mode also available. Delivery includes trainer presentations and demonstrations, individual tasks, case studies, research, role plays, practical demonstrations, and group work. The structured self-study component amounts to 4 hours per week and is mandatory. Assessment is competency based, and students can also be supported outside of face-to-face hours through email and telephone contact with their trainer.
Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into a range of Graduate Diploma qualifications, as well as higher education qualifications in Civil Construction or a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil). Upon graduation, students may also pursue Bachelor Degrees in Perth or other cities of Australia.
