The tuition fee for the course is $31,000, with a one-time non-refundable application fee of $350 and textbooks & material fees of $2,100. Additionally, all students are required to have Overseas Health Cover, which costs approximately $550 per annum for a single student or $5,000 per annum for a family.
The course has a duration of 52 weeks (CRICOS recorded duration), which equates to 24 months including term breaks.
Students must have an IELTS score of 5.5 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through being educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country, completing at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO, or successfully completing an English Placement Test. Other tests such as PTE and TOEFL can also be accepted if results are equivalent to IELTS 5.5.
After successfully completing the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design, students may apply for a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil). Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include Civil Construction Supervisor, Civil Design Draftsperson, and Senior Civil Works Designer.
Yes, Aspen College offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), which acknowledges skills and knowledge gained through formal/informal training conducted by industry or education, work experience, and life experience. Applicants who can provide satisfactory evidence that they have achieved the required unit of competency or competencies may progress through the course with an exemption for the RPL units. Credit Transfer is also available for students with identified equivalent qualifications.
