Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management

The Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management (CHC62015) is delivered by The Bright College Pty Ltd at its Perth campus over 52 weeks, including 12 weeks of holidays, with face-to-face classes 3 days per week (20 hours per week). The course prepares students for middle-management roles in the community sector, developing the skills to work independently, report to executive leadership, and manage service delivery, staff performance, risk, and organisational improvement across community-based and not-for-profit organisations. Core units cover diversity management, legal and ethical compliance, quality frameworks, case management facilitation, team leadership, financial management, organisational change, continuous improvement, and risk management. Elective units allow students to specialise in areas such as policy development, workplace debriefing and support, equitable service access, and professional practice reflection. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for eligible applicants. Graduates are prepared for leadership positions such as coordinator, community care manager, community development manager, program area manager, community services manager, and volunteer program manager.
