Common Questions
The 22700VIC Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology is provisionally accredited by Engineers Australia. However, please note that the qualification is not recognised under the International Accord agreements until full accreditation has been achieved. As accreditation is outcomes-based, provisional accreditation means the program meets the accreditation criteria to the extent possible at the time of evaluation and will likely receive full accreditation when a representative group of graduates have emerged.
The course runs for 104 weeks, including 14 weeks of holidays, with a total of 1800 hours of study. The course fee is $34,000, with an additional material fee of $1,000 and a digital access fee of $200. Students will also be required to purchase additional resources at their own expense.
Graduates of this qualification can pursue para-professional roles such as Civil Draftsperson, Laboratory Technician, Research Assistant, and Civil Technician. Graduates will be equipped to contribute to the civil engineering and related industries by applying advanced engineering practices, enhancing existing products and services, and developing innovative solutions for global competitiveness.
International students must be at least 18 years of age when the course starts, have completed studies equivalent to Australian Year 12 education, demonstrate minimum language, literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to level 3 of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), and provide evidence of English language proficiency through a minimum score on an internationally recognised English test.
Yes. Credit Transfer is available for study already completed at other institutions — you must submit a Credit Transfer Application Form along with certified copies of your qualifications or Statement of Attainment. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is also available and recognises your current skills and experience regardless of where and when the learning occurred, based on any combination of formal or informal training, work experience, or general life experience. Note that a Course Credit may result in the shortening of the Student Visa duration and reissuing of the Confirmation of Enrolment.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
