Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management

The Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management (SIT60322) reflects the role of highly skilled senior managers who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with specialised managerial skills and substantial industry knowledge to coordinate hospitality operations. Students learn to operate with significant autonomy and take responsibility for strategic business management decisions across a hospitality enterprise.

The course comprises 33 units of competency (16 core and 17 elective), covering areas such as organisational finance and physical asset management, workplace health and safety systems, marketing strategy development, quality customer service, staff recruitment and performance management, and legal risk and compliance. Delivered over 105 weeks including breaks, with 25% of the course conducted online, training combines face-to-face classes with practical hospitality experience.

Graduates are equipped for senior leadership roles across the hospitality industry, with the qualification also providing a pathway into further study at higher education level. It is delivered at Wells International College's Sydney and Brisbane campuses.
