Common Questions
The course duration is 104 weeks (80 Academic weeks + 24 Weeks Holidays). However, students who have successfully completed the course SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management at SCCM will obtain credit transfer of the units which accounts for 1.5 years of full time study, reducing the course duration to 26 weeks.
The total course cost is AUD 31,750, which includes a Tuition Fee of AUD 30,000, an Enrollment Fee of AUD 250, and a Material Fee of AUD 1,500.
To be awarded the SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management, competency must be demonstrated in 33 units of competency, consisting of 14 core units and 19 elective units.
Yes. Students can pursue recognition of prior learning by providing relevant evidence of qualifications and/or work experience as detailed in SCCM's RPL kit for this qualification. For credit transfer, if a certificate with statement of results or a statement of attainment is produced and verified, a credit transfer process will be initiated. Students who have successfully completed SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management with SCCM will have credit transfer for 28 units and will only need to complete the remaining units within 26 weeks.
The Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management is delivered face to face on campus at four locations: Level 2, 17-21 Macquarie St Parramatta NSW 2150; Level 1, 303 Pitt St, Sydney 2000, NSW; 25 Cavenagh St, Darwin City NT 0800; and Level 8, 50 Grenfell St, Adelaide, South Australia 5000.
