Entry Requirements Academic Requirement (1) Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or the Australian/overseas equivalent is mandatory.

Students must be at least 18 years old

English Requirement English language tests: Students must achieve an English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 with no score lower than 5.0 for all courses.

A score for a TOEFL iBT test taken on or after 26 July 2023 will no longer satisfy the English language requirement for Student visa purposes. Only TOEFL iBT scores from tests taken on or before 25 July 2023 are accepted for Student visa purposes.

**From 12 February 2024, only results from the paper-based Cambridge English C1 Advanced test (previously known as Cambridge English: Advanced CAE) will be accepted for Australian visa and migration purposes. Test scores for both C1 Advanced paper-based and computer-based formats received prior to 12 February 2024 are also accepted.

Students can enrol in Australian Universities to continue and pursue this career path. They can apply their knowledge and skills gained whilst in Australia to make a difference in their home country or seek to live and work anywhere in the world. In addition, international students who work in the hospitality industry field can formalise their work experience with a recognised Australian training certification, so they can tap into the jobs that are available in the industry.
Job opportunities for international students for professional roles such as Operations Manager, Motel Manager, Area Manager.
In summary, the completion of this qualification can allow students to work in restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops.
