For direct entry students, the tuition fee is $28,000 payable in eight instalments of $3,500 each. Pathway students (who have completed the SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management) pay $14,000 payable in four instalments of $3,500 each. There is also a non-refundable $500 Enrolment Fee payable at the time of enrolment, a $1,000 Equipment Fee (applicable only for direct entry students), and a $2,400 Materials Fee ($400 only for Diploma pathway students), which are refundable if you cancel prior to course package commencement.
Yes. Students who completed the SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management qualification from the SIT training package will be given credits towards this course, which will reduce the course duration from 104 weeks to 52 weeks (consisting of 36 study weeks across four terms of nine weeks each, plus scheduled holiday breaks). CAPSTONE Institute of Australia recognises previous studies by credit transfer process to deliver this course in a shortened duration.
Overseas students must demonstrate at least an Upper Intermediate level of English, equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, prior to commencing this course.
Students who successfully complete this course will be issued with a SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management. A Statement of Attainment will be issued to students who partially complete this course. All certification documentation will be issued by The Ballarat Academy Pty Ltd trading as CAPSTONE Institute of Australia.
This course is delivered full-time (20 contact hours each study week) with a blended delivery mode, including face-to-face, online and work placement components. Students must also complete additional self-directed study at home to achieve the course outcomes, which allows students to review and strengthen their knowledge and complete assessments that don't require interaction with their assessor. Assessment tasks may include knowledge assessment, project assessment and/or demonstration assessment, as outlined in the assessment guide provided at the commencement of each unit.
