Common Questions
To enrol in this course, you must have successfully completed SIT30821 Cert III in Commercial Cookery, SIT40521 Cert IV in Kitchen Management, and SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management. You must also complete KIC's Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) test with at least a score equivalent to IELTS Academic 6.0, IELTS General 6.0, PTE Academic 47, TOEFL iBT 67, C1 Advanced 161, OET 1210, CELPIP General 7, LANGUAGECERT Academic 61, or MET 53 as your overall test result.
The total course amount is $6,300.00 AUD, which includes an Application fee of $250.00, a Tuition fee of $5,500.00, and a Resource fee of $550.00. There is also a Commitment fee of $500.00 which must be paid by students taking this course individually, and will be adjusted/credited back to the student's final term's instalment of the course. All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
The total duration of the course is 26 weeks, comprising 20 academic weeks plus 4 to 6 weeks of study breaks depending on the Christmas period. Classes are scheduled 2 days per week (mandatory), with Academic Support available 1 day per week (Fridays), totalling 20 academic contact hours per week.
