Common Questions
Practical training covering hospitality will be provided in 36 sessions (approx. 144 hours) as an integrated part of your studies. Training will be provided within a TAFE NSW operated restaurant at your enrolment location.
The course fee is $25,875 AUD. Additionally, costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials (if applicable) range from $300 - $1,000 AUD per course.
Students who successfully complete the TAFE NSW Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management may articulate with credit transfer into the Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Events at the University of Newcastle Australia (UON). UON gives TAFE NSW graduates entry into that bachelor degree with 1.5 year credit transfer.
The course requires 14 core units and 19 elective units, consisting of 1 unit from Group A, 1 unit from Group B, 11 units from Group C, and 6 units from Group C, Group D, elsewhere in the SIT Training Package, or any other current Training Package or accredited course.
