The tuition fee is AU$26,000 for both international and domestic students. Additional fees include a Resource fee of AU$2,500, a Material fee of AU$450, and a non-refundable Enrolment Fee of AU$250 payable at the time of enrolment. International students are also required to hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their student visa.
The course runs for 104 weeks, which includes 80 weeks of study and 24 weeks of holidays. Duration may vary if the student has applied for advanced standing and been granted credit transfer (CT). Classes are scheduled for 2½ days per week, with a minimum of 20 scheduled course contact hours each week.
Yes, students are required to attend 10 weeks of Vocational Placement at 20 hours per week, totalling 200 hours of practical industry experience as part of the course requirements.
International students must meet one of the following minimum scores: IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 (IELTS Academic One Skill Retake are accepted), Pearson Test of English (Academic) 42 with no score less than 36, or Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) 169. Exemptions apply for citizens or passport holders of the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, or Ireland, and for those who have completed qualifying studies in Australia. The English language test must have been completed within two (2) years prior to the enrolment application date.
Graduates of the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management can pursue roles such as Area Manager, Operations Manager, or Motel Manager. The qualification provides a pathway to work in any hospitality industry sector as a departmental or small business manager across a diverse range of employers including restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops. Students who complete this course may also pursue higher education qualifications in hospitality management.
