Common Questions
The course is delivered full time over 102 weeks plus 13 weeks of holiday, with the program delivered over a total of 115 weeks. Each week, students attend 20 hours of face-to-face training and assessment.
Upon successful completion of the course requirements, the student will be awarded a SIT60422 – Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management (Release 1) qualification. Students who do not successfully complete the qualification will be issued with a 'Statement of Attainment' listing all units that have been successfully completed.
Upon successful completion of this qualification, students may undertake further training in the hospitality field to expand on their skills and knowledge, such as a Bachelor of Hospitality Management.
Yes. Credit Transfer (CT) is available for students with previously obtained units of competency that identically match the units in this qualification. Additionally, a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process is in place for learners who wish to gain recognition for an individual unit or the complete qualification. Prior to commencement, a review of each student's previous education, training and work experience will be conducted to determine if existing competencies should be recognised.
Prospective students must complete a Pre-Training Review, a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test, and a Learning Style Assessment as part of the Determining Suitability Assessment. Students will be admitted only if their LLN test result is within the college-specific required range. Students are also required to disclose any medical conditions upon enrolment, and if applicable, provide a certificate of capacity from their doctor. Sunshine College of Management Pty Ltd will not enrol an eligible individual where the qualification is at an inappropriate level for that student.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
