Common Questions
The course fees are as follows: Tuition fee: $24,500; Material fee: $1,000; and Application fee: $250. All fees and charges are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are GST exempt. Fees and charges may vary where Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and/or Credit Transfer (CT) has been approved.
This qualification is delivered over a period of 2 years, consisting of 104 weeks in total, which includes 24 weeks of breaks/holidays and 80 weeks of tuition. Students are required to attend 20 contact (face-to-face) scheduled hours each week of study. Note that the course duration may vary for students who have been granted credits or RPL.
Students enrolling in this course must meet the following requirements: an IELTS General English Level 6.0 or another equivalent recognised English Language test; Year 12 or equivalent high school certificate for academic level; and a minimum age of 18 years or over at the time of commencement.
Yes. AIHM provides Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT) opportunities to all students. Students should apply for RPL or CT prior to enrolment or at any time during their studies if they find that they have an existing competency or prior learning in any of the units offered in this course. Recognition of RPL/CT may reduce the course duration and the course fees and charges may vary where RPL and/or CT has been approved.
Graduates of the SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management can pursue roles such as Area Manager, Hospitality Manager, Motel Manager, Operations Manager, Event Coordinator, Food and Beverage Manager, Front Office Manager, Restaurant Manager, Catering Manager, Conference and Banquet Manager, and Accommodation Services Manager. Through guest speakers, case studies, and real-world projects, graduates are also prepared for roles such as Executive Chef, Hospitality Director, or Culinary Entrepreneur. Graduates may also choose to pursue further studies at higher education level with higher education providers or universities.
