The duration of the course is 26 weeks.
Applicants must have successfully completed the SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management, be a minimum of 18 years of age (or turning 18 prior to commencement), have completed Year 10 or equivalent, and meet English proficiency requirements — either an IELTS overall score of 6.0 (with no individual section score less than 5.5) or a Pre-entry Oxford English online test result of no less than B2.2 with a minimum score of 71.
After completing the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management, graduates can pathway into a Bachelor of Hospitality Management. For other relevant qualifications or further study options in the cookery sector, students are referred to www.training.gov.au.
The qualification requires 33 units in total — 14 core and 19 elective. A certificate is issued where all 33 units have been deemed competent. Issuing of your Certificate and or Statement of Attainment occurs within 30 days of your last unit being deemed competent, however, this may be delayed if you have not provided your Unique Student Identifier (USI) or have any outstanding fees not finalised.
