The tuition fees for the ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Networking) are AU$18,000. Additionally, there is a course application fee of AU$200, an accommodation placement fee of AU$200 (if required), and an airport pick-up fee of AU$200 (if required).
To attain the ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology (Advanced Networking), students are required to complete 20 units of competency, comprising six (6) core units and fourteen (14) elective units as set out in the ICT Training Package packaging rules.
International students enrolled in this qualification are required to attend a minimum of 20 hours per week of scheduled contact hours, comprising 16 hours of classroom-based face-to-face delivery per week and 4 hours of compulsory e-learning segment administered via the MyPCT portal per week.
Upon successful completion, graduates can pathway into the ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology or a range of other ICT Diploma qualifications. The qualification also prepares graduates for roles such as network administrator, IT administrator, network security coordinator, and network operations analyst.
The course runs for 78 weeks including breaks and holidays. In 2026, there are four intake dates: 2nd February (First Term), 20th April (Second Term), 13th July (Third Term), and 28th September (Fourth Term).
