You will learn how to create, design and monitor complex systems that store data and optimise organisational knowledge management; protect sensitive data and information through security architecture and develop disaster recovery and contingency plans; build advanced user interfaces, develop REST APIs and design user experience solutions; apply advanced ICT languages to maintain security and manage data; manage and communicate strategic ICT business solutions; and model and test data objects, data processes and preferred ICT system solutions.
Every student must demonstrate completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent, attain IELTS 6.0 English language equivalence if a non-native English speaker, and be aged over 18. It is also preferred that students have completed the ICT50120 Diploma of Information Technology or equivalent.
The course runs for 78 weeks in total, which includes 21 weeks of scheduled breaks.
On completion of the ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security), students may pursue other Advanced Diplomas at WIN College or the following undergraduate programs at Wentworth Institute of Higher Education: Bachelor of Information Technology, Graduate Certificate in Information Technology, Graduate Diploma of Information Technology, or Master of Information Technology.
