Yes, ICM can grant course credit for units of competency already completed with another RTO or authorised issuing organisation, as well as for subjects where equivalence can be established. There is no charge to apply for credit. Note that if you are granted credit as an international student, your course duration will be reduced and you will be informed of this in writing.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where skills and knowledge gained through work and life experience and other unrecognised training can be formally recognised. You should ideally apply for RPL at the time of enrolment, but you may also apply up to 2 weeks into your course. ICM will discuss RPL options with you during the entry and interview stage, and if suitable, you will be provided with a kit to guide you through the process with the assistance of a trainer/assessor. Similar to course credits, granting RPL will reduce your course duration for international students.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
