The tuition fee for the ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology is A$19,500, with an additional non-tuition fee of $550. Course fees do not include computer software or textbooks, which must be purchased at the student's own cost. A detailed payment plan and payment arrangements are provided in the letter of offer and written agreement.
The course is delivered 20 hours a week using both online and face-to-face learning environments. Face-to-face learning is a classroom-based setting that includes the simulation of the workplace-based environment, while the online learning component is 1/3 of the course, which is delivered via a Learning Management System (LMS) that students access with their own username and password.
International applicants require an IELTS score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or equivalent. English language competence can also be demonstrated through completion of a Certificate III or at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course or above in an Australian college, completion of an Advanced level English course from an approved ELICOS provider, an English Placement Test (EPT), or other tests such as PTE and TOEFL (with results confirming equivalence to IELTS 6.0). Students who do not meet these requirements may undertake an ELICOS course.
The course has intakes in January, April, July, and October, with a midterm intake also available. The qualification is delivered over 78 weeks, comprising 6 terms of 10 weeks each (60 weeks of study total) and 18 weeks of holiday breaks as specified in the timetable.
