The tuition fee for the Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security) is A$24,000, with an additional enrolment fee of A$200 and a material fee of A$950.
The course duration is 104 weeks full-time, with a study load of 20 hours per week including holidays. Students who have already completed the ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology from AIDT or equivalent may be eligible for an 85-week course duration.
Training and assessment are conducted face-to-face, both in the classroom and in a simulated environment. Assessment methods include written work, projects and observations.
Yes. AIDT recognises AQF and VET qualifications, as well as Statements of Attainment issued by other RTOs, and students may apply for course credit which may reduce the course duration. Additionally, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) acknowledges a student's previous formal or informal learning, work, and life experience relevant to the course outcomes — students can apply by submitting an application with supporting evidence aligned to each Unit of Competency.
Applicants must have an English level of at least IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, and must also successfully complete the college's LLN (Language, Literacy and Numeracy) test and digital literacy assessment.
