The total cost for the course is AUD $24,000 in course fees, plus a non-refundable enrolment fee of $250 (to be paid on application) and material fees of $500. Note that course fees do not include laptops or software, which are additional costs.
Applicants must have an IELTS score of 5.5 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of having been educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country, or through successful completion of an English Placement Test. Other tests such as PTE and TOEFL can also be accepted if equivalent to IELTS 5.5.
Students must bring their own laptop to all classes. For PC, the minimum requirements include an Intel or AMD 64-bit processor running at 2 GHz or faster, Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit), 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended), 3.1 GB hard disk space, and a 1024x768 display. For macOS, a multicore Intel 64-bit processor, macOS 10.12 or later, and 2 GB RAM (8 GB recommended) are required. An approximate laptop cost of $450 and Office 365 at $129 annually are additional expenses not included in course fees.
Yes, students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge, and experience through credit transfer or recognition of prior learning. The granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course. This process is outlined in Ausford College's Student Enrolment and Completion Policy and Associated Procedures and Training and Assessment Policy & Associated Procedures.
All units listed in the course structure are required to award the full qualification. Students who only complete some units will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for units successfully completed.
