The course has a total duration of 104 weeks, which includes 80 teaching weeks and 24 weeks of holidays.
Students are required to have an IELTS Overall score of 6.0 or equivalent English proficiency. Alternatively, English language competence can be demonstrated through evidence such as being educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country, completing a foundation course in Australia, or completing the College English Placement Test. Other tests such as PTE and TOEFL may also be accepted if they are equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
Students must complete a total of 16 units, comprising 6 core units and 10 elective units.

Graduates may pursue employment as a Telecommunications Network Engineer, among other ICT roles. Students may also choose to continue their education by pursuing ICT courses in higher education.
