Advanced Diploma of Information Technology

This qualification provides advanced skills in information technology, focusing on cyber security, data management, IT strategy and business systems. You will learn how to design and manage complex IT solutions, lead projects, analyse business needs and support organisations with advanced technology systems. This course is suitable for students who want to move into senior IT roles or continue into higher-level studies. Key focus areas include enterprise architecture, ict governance, advanced networking, project direction and technology strategy. Across its 16 units of competency (6 core and 10 elective), students build practical, workplace-ready skills, covering areas such as apply critical thinking for complex problem solving, manage team effectiveness, promote workplace cyber security awareness and best practices, interact with clients on a business level and manage ip, ethics and privacy in ict environments. The course runs over 104 weeks, including 80 study weeks and 24 weeks of holidays, delivered face-to-face in a classroom-based setting, at the 460 Church St, Parramatta NSW 2150 campus. Graduates are prepared for roles such as ICT Manager, IT Project Manager and Enterprise Systems Manager.
