Apply critical thinking for complex problem solving
This unit offers skills and knowledge required to apply critical thinking to develop solutions to complex issues arising in the workplace. Students can gain the knowledge of decision-making processes which includes barriers to effective decision-making.
Lead and manage organisational change
This unit provides the necessary skills and knowledge required to lead and manage organisational change. Students can learn to develop strategies to communicate or educate the changes.
Provide leadership across the organisation
This unit offers skills and knowledge required to demonstrate senior leadership behavior. Students can gain personal and professional competence which are widely used and is vital at work.
Develop and implement business plans
This unit provides the vital skills and knowledge required to lead a business operation that covers the steps required to develop and implement business plans. Students are required to develop a business plan.
Manage innovation and continuous improvement
In this unit, students will be able to develop the skills and knowledge which are essential to sustain and develop an environment in which continuous improvement, innovation and learning are promoted and rewarded.

In this unit, students are required to consult with stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate the corporate social responsibility policy in an organisation. Students will need to identify and establish CSR.

In this unit, students are required to undertake budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting. It includes contributing to reviewing financial information, analysing financial risks, preparing a budget, and reporting on financial activity.
Common Questions
The program is delivered over 78 weeks (1.5 years), with actual student contact hours being 20 hours per week for 60 weeks. It has been divided into 6 terms of 10 weeks each with 18 weeks of holidays.
Students must be over 18 years of age and hold a fully completed Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions), OR have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role. Students whose first language is not English must provide proof of English language competency, such as an IELTS score of 6.0 minimum (no lower than 6.0 in each band), TOEFL IBT score of 78, PTE Score of 52, or equivalent. Basic computer skills and completion of the LLN Indicator Tool are also required.
Each unit comprises assessment tasks such as written questions, case studies and practical assessments that must be completed in full before being submitted for marking. Assessments are competency based — students receive either a Competent (C) or Not Yet Competent (NYC) result. Students have three (3) attempts to demonstrate competency; otherwise a unit re-enrolment fee applies.

Yes. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer may be offered to any learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within this qualification. RPL and Credit Transfer must be processed and approved before the starting of the course.
