Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management

To be eligible, applicants must be 18 years or above with a High School Certificate (Year 12), provide English level evidence (Advanced level/IELTS 6.0/PTE overall 50), submit a verified copy of qualifications and transcripts, and have either completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package or have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

The course runs for 78 weeks in total, comprising 69 weeks of study and 9 weeks of scheduled breaks.

Graduates of the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management are suited for careers in roles such as Area Manager, Department Manager, and Regional Manager.

After graduation, further study options with CTI include the Advanced Diploma of Business, Diploma of Software Development, or Diploma of Digital and Interactive Games. Students can also progress to a university such as USQ or a university of their choice.

The course consists of 10 units in total (5 core units and 5 electives), covering four key clusters: Leadership and Management (including providing leadership across the organisation and leading workplace communication), Business Planning (including developing business plans and strategic workforce planning), Innovation (including managing organisational change and continuous improvement), and Sustainability (including managing business risk and developing workplace sustainability policies).
