Apply critical thinking for complex problem solving
Understand how to use logical thinking to come up with solutions to problems that occur in the workplace. This unit is for people who need to think objectively in order to come up with organised and creative solutions to complex organisational problems.
Lead and manage organisational change
Learn the skills and knowledge required to determine strategic change requirements and opportunities; and to develop, implement and evaluate change management strategies.
Provide leadership across the organisation
Learn how to demonstrate senior leadership behaviour, influence groups and individuals, build and support teams and model ethical conduct.
Develop and implement business plans
Develop and monitor a business plan and respond to performance data. Learn how to consult with key stakeholders, review market requirements, research pricing options, develop objectives and analyse performance reports against planned objectives.
Manage innovation and continuous improvement
Applies to individuals working at a managerial level who facilitate work teams who want to build a positive team culture. Learn how to apply discretion and judgement using a range of problem solving and decision-making strategies.

Common Questions
Start dates are monthly — you may commence any Monday. Students who do not start on a preferred start date will complete orientation and then commence class at the start of the next unit.
Students must pass a minimum of one of the following: an Upper Intermediate Certificate or higher, a Certificate IV level or higher qualification in Australia, IELTS 5.5–6, FCE Grade B or C, CAE 160–179, TOEFL 72–94, TOEIC 400–485 (listening) / 385–450 (reading), or the Entrepreneur Education English Test achieving at least Upper Intermediate level. All English evidence must be within a 2-year validity period.
The course runs for 58 weeks in total, broken down into 42 weeks of study, 4 weeks of supervised study, and 12 weeks of holidays.
You may be eligible for Credit Transfers if you hold the same unit(s) from another provider. To be eligible, you must present your certified qualification at enrolment stage, together with the completed 'Course Credit Form'. Once assessed, you will be notified of the outcome, and if your achieved units are equivalent, your CoE/course duration will be reduced according to the amount of time needed to complete the outstanding units.
Entry is limited to those who have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions), or who have two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise. Students must also provide evidence of Year 12 or a Certificate III level qualification or higher; if this evidence is not available, they must sit the Entrepreneur LLN Test and achieve a satisfactory result.
