Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management

The Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB60420) reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Students use initiative and judgement to plan and implement leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes, applying cognitive and communication skills to analyse and synthesise information and respond to complex problems.

Delivered over 52 weeks including breaks at Wells International College's Sydney and Brisbane campuses, the course comprises 10 units of competency covering organisational change leadership, business planning, continuous improvement and innovation, corporate social responsibility, and diversity and inclusion strategy. Students build advanced leadership, management and organisational change skills.

The qualification prepares graduates for senior management roles and provides a pathway to further study at higher education level. Entry requires a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package and two years' equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience.
