To enter this qualification, domestic students must have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions), or have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise. International students must additionally be at least 18 years of age, have completed at least the equivalent of Year 12, hold an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent (no more than 2 years old), participate in a course entry interview, and score 3 or above in an LLN test.
Course delivery is through classroom-based face-to-face learning at the campus locations for 14 hours per week, tailored for theoretical and practical training sessions by means of simulated workplace environments and group activities. An additional 6 hours of online learning is delivered through QIBA online learning platforms ZOOM and Learnbook (Moodle), comprising a total of 20 hours of training delivery per week.
The course duration is 52 weeks and the tuition fee is $12,000.
Assessment for this qualification may include written reports, case studies, projects, role plays, oral questioning, case study analysis, demonstration, presentation, written assessments and third-party reports, as well as portfolios of evidence and workplace reports. Students must demonstrate competence across all tasks of assessment to achieve competence in the unit.
