Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management

BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management provides training and skills development in the functions of business at a senior management level, including the ability to analyse, diagnose, design and execute business management functions and add value to or review management practices.

Across its 10 units of competency (5 core, 5 elective), students cover leading and managing organisational change, providing leadership across the organisation, developing and implementing business plans, managing innovation and continuous improvement, applying critical thinking to complex problem solving, developing organisational strategies, corporate social responsibility, and diversity and inclusion strategy.

Delivery is 70% face-to-face classroom instruction and 30% online. Entry requires a completed Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package, or two years' equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role. Graduates commonly move into roles such as area manager, department manager or regional manager, with a pathway into higher education study.
