Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management

To enter this qualification, you must have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB training package (current or superseded equivalent versions), OR have two years' equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise. Learners must also be over 18 years of age, and international students must demonstrate an IELTS 6.0 level of English language or equivalent, as well as have completed education equivalent to an Australian Senior High School, College or University Course.

The program runs for 78 calendar weeks in total, comprising 60 academic weeks (structured as 6 terms of 10 weeks each) and 18 weeks of term breaks (6 breaks of 3 weeks each). The course delivers over 20 hours of full-time study per week, totalling 1,200 allocated face-to-face hours.

The course is delivered face-to-face for 20 hours per week. Trainers use a combination of trainer-led classes and practical activities involving small-group and individual activities. Resources are also available online through the college Moodle platform.

Graduates of this qualification may pursue roles such as Manager, Area Manager, Business Analyst, Quarry Business Manager, Senior Executive, Business Development Director, Executive Director, Department Manager, Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer.

After achieving the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management, students may undertake further study to a bachelor's degree or other Advanced Diploma Level qualifications.
