Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management

The Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB60420) is Wall Street College's senior leadership qualification, built for individuals applying specialised knowledge and experience across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Graduates use initiative and judgement to plan and implement leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes, and draw on cognitive and communication skills to analyse information and respond to complex problems.

The course spans 10 units of competency — five core and five elective. Core units cover applying critical thinking to complex problem solving, leading organisational change, providing leadership across the organisation, developing and implementing business plans, and managing innovation and continuous improvement, with electives spanning learning and development strategy, organisational finance, strategic workforce planning and program leadership.

Entry requires completion of the Diploma of Leadership and Management (or equivalent) or at least two years' experience in an operational or leadership role. Delivered face-to-face at the Melbourne campus over 78 weeks (60 weeks of class, 18 weeks of holiday), 20 hours of class per week plus around 5 hours of self-paced study.

Graduates are prepared for roles such as department head, manager, director of a small business, operational manager and team leader, with a pathway into a bachelor degree at a higher education provider.
