The course runs for 65 weeks in total, which includes 50 teaching weeks and 15 weeks of holidays. Term dates can be found by referring to the Institute's Academic Calendar.
Students are required to have an IELTS Overall score of 6.0 or equivalent English proficiency (test results must be no more than 2 years old). Alternatively, an Overall band score of 5.5 or equivalent is accepted if packaged with at least 10 weeks' ELICOS, or a band score of 5.0 or equivalent if packaged with at least 20 weeks' ELICOS. Other tests such as PTE and TOEFL can also be accepted if results are equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
Entry to this qualification requires applicants to have either completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions), or have two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise. Additionally, students must be 18 years and above and have completed Year 12 or equivalent.
Students must complete a total of 10 units, comprising 5 core units and 5 elective units. The core units are BSBCRT611 Apply critical thinking for complex problem solving, BSBLDR601 Lead and manage organisational change, BSBLDR602 Provide leadership across the organisation, BSBOPS601 Develop and implement business plans, and BSBSTR601 Manage innovation and continuous improvement.
The course is delivered via classroom-based, face-to-face learning at Level 3, 57 Sanders Street, Upper Mount Gravatt, QLD 4122.
