The BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management has a duration of 104 weeks in total, comprising 80 weeks of course delivery plus 24 weeks of term break.
International students must achieve an IELTS 6.0 overall (with no less than 5.5 in each band) or an equivalent test result, or have completed General English / EAP at the Upper Intermediate level from an approved ELICOS provider. Any AQF qualification at the Certificate IV or above delivered and assessed in English will also be deemed as meeting the English language requirements.
The course is delivered in a blended mode, requiring students to attend 15 hours of face-to-face full-time classroom study plus complete 5 hours of structured online learning every week via the Mercury Colleges ELearn platform. Teachers deliver lectures and tutorials face to face on campus, and weekly online study is tracked for every student.
Students access assessments through the ELearn platform. Assessment methods include demonstrations, presentations, class tests, projects, and written reports.
Students who complete the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management can progress to the BSB80320 Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership as part of the Leadership and Management Pathway.
