The qualification is delivered over 104 weeks in total, which includes 72 weeks of training and assessment spread over 8 terms of 9 weeks each, plus 32 weeks of holidays.
The total course fee is AUD $21,600, plus a non-refundable enrolment fee of $300 payable upon application. Course fees do not include computer software or textbooks, which are to be purchased at the student's own cost. Non-tuition fees may also apply and can be found in the Pre-Enrolment Information Handbook.
International students must have an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent, and the test results must be no more than 2 years old.
Assessment occurs through a variety of methods, including projects incorporating role-plays, case studies and short answer questions. Assessment conditions simulate a workplace environment and tasks reflect real-life work, are performed within industry standard timeframes, utilise authentic workplace documentation, and require students to work as part of a team and plan and prioritise competing work tasks.
Yes, students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience through credit transfer or recognition of prior learning. For international students, the granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course, and any changes will be advised in writing.
