The course has a total duration of 52 weeks, which includes 40 teaching weeks and 12 weeks of holidays.
Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following: IELTS 6.0, PTE 50, General English Advanced or equivalent, Duolingo 95, an Oban College internal English test, or a Certificate IV or higher qualification with an Australian institution.
The course is delivered face to face through a combination of blended learning environments, including classroom and simulated class activities. Both knowledge and skill assessments are required to be completed with a competent outcome for each unit to achieve your certificate.
Graduates of the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management go on to roles such as Senior Executive, Human Resources Manager, Executive Manager, and Director.
The course consists of 10 units in total — 5 core units and 5 elective units. Core units include subjects such as Apply critical thinking for complex problem solving and Lead and manage organisational change, while elective units include topics such as Communicate with influence and Develop organisational strategies. Please note that electives are subject to change to meet client and industry requirements.
