About This Course

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialized knowledge and skills, along with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgment to plan and implement various leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters. They employ cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyze, and synthesize information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others. Additionally, they utilize creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or to respond to complex problems.

Requirements

Academic Requirement: Applicants should have successfully completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (either current or superseded equivalent versions), OR they should have two years of equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role within an enterprise.
English Requirement: A minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or an equivalent is required. Alternatively, applicants may meet the requirement with a minimum of two years of study at an AQF Level 4 or higher completed in Australia.
Age Requirement: Students must be a minimum age of 18 years or above at the time of course commencement.
Language, Literacy & Numeracy Requirement: All students will be required to complete an LLN assessment prior to the commencement of the course. ASBT utilizes the LLN Robot platform for this assessment.
Technology Requirement: To work on assessments, tasks, and self-study, all learners are expected to have access to a laptop or computer with a Windows operating system and office applications such as Microsoft Word at their own cost.
